Your girlfriend is fed up WITH your constant wordplay jokes.

Real pedantry.

Real pedantry.
As the man with a wooden leg* said: "It's a matter of a pinion"
Merriam Webster
Definition of fed up of.
informal, British
: very tired of (something) : angry about (something that has continued for a long time)

Cambridge(example under "interfere")
I'm fed up of him interfering in my love life

MacMillan:
The usual preposition following 'fed-up' is 'with', but among younger people, 'of' is becoming increasingly common. Some people think this use is incorrect.

But:
Oxford:
Some people say ‘fed up of something’ in informal British English, but this is not considered correct in standard English.

*
I once knew a man with a wooden leg named Smith.
.

.

.
I don't know what the other one was called.

Thanks for that. Always wondered if there was a formal distinction

So what are small hand guns generically called?

Re: The New Joke Thread

So...Anybody interested in a free ride in a helicopter for 4 people? I'm still looking for 2 more adults to join us. We leave early Saturday morning (October 17) from Worcester,MA and will fly to Gloucester,MA where we will have breakfast, then have lunch on a yacht.
Then we’ll do a flight up the east coast to see the fall colors, returning to Gloucester for dinner, then fly back home. If interested, please message me. Preferably someone with a helicopter and yacht, otherwise we can't go... [emoji571]

They're handguns, not hand guns.

A small handgun is often called a "pocket pistol"

Except the ones who play with a semiauto.

None of them have answered the questionnaire.
