Re: The New Joke Thread

I really don't get the whole statue thing....or having a street named after you...or a stadium, etc, etc, I don't think most people do...most people drive or walk by statues, streets, stadiums, etc and don't give the thing a moment's notice..ie, they couldn't care less
I must be a sailor, I think, I bow only to waves

The news report I read on it stated bubba never saw the noose. A crew member saw it, and nascar president Steve Phelps called the FBI. I was very impressed with the support the rest of nascar showed

Measurements on finished lumber is based on the original rough sawn board before planing and finishing. So an actual 2x4 is cut from a log but before it's sold the rough cut board is planed and sanded smooth leaving a 1 1/2 x 3 1/2.

I think the finished dimension is due to the saw blade kerf. I don't believe I've bought dimensioned lumber that was planed or sanded.
Yeah..."standardized lumber"....who came up w that standard?

Well he did own and trade slaves, so they really should be protesting that one as well.
