Whoa. C'mon, facebook has its plus points and what doesn't work for some is a bonus for others. Me, I'm not even in any groups here on CF, let alone have any so-called CF "friends". On the other hand YOU have what, 19 friends here on CF and are a member of two CF social groups? According to your homepage, anyway.

Not sure there's much difference between socaldmax (for example) using facebook as a gathering point for a group of fellow submarine shipmates and your using CF as a gathering point for the Boats & Sailing in The Philippines group.

Mark Zuckerberg is calling because it seems that you're more than halfway towards being facebook member material!

You just made my point! You searched my profile and I’m no longer anonymous. Soooo, now all my opinions will be subjected to biases. FB has so much on everyone that they are sold to vendors. Hopeful not here on CF.
And BTW everything here is boat related except the joke thread.

Actually, you made my point! You voluntarily joined CF and allowed all that information to be put "out there", just like others voluntarily join facebook. And BTW, submarines are technically boats.

The last word is; I didn’t put that info out there. CF did, by exposing my profile! There is no other info about me that I added except posts and pictures. But I have nothing to hide.

That was years ago. I don’t look like that picture any more. So what’s my L&L, my phone #, I no longer work or whats my real name?
