are there any political math jokes?

Well, when one combines the number of posts from the original Joke Thread with those in the New Joke Thread (and discounting those deleted from both threads for bad taste or offensiveness in the PC school of accounting) the overall ratio remains within the generally acceptable boundaries of the average reader possessing a modicum of (visually/mentally presented) humour and will naturally (over unspecified time) return from the current so-called "hovering"state to a more eclectic and dynamic version of reality.

There's them what can tell a joke and them what can't.
And there's them what ain't satisfied with free offerings! <smile>

Relax, mate!

OK, to improve the junk to joke ratio, here's one math joke you may enjoy.

Re: The New Joke Thread

A blonde biology student conducts an experiment on grasshoppers.

She pulls off one of its legs at a time and yells, "Hop." The grasshopper hops each time until all of its legs are gone.

The blonde concludes:
when all the legs of a grasshopper are removed, it becomes deaf.

Re: The New Joke Thread

Of course, the constipated navigator would have worked it out with a sextant...

But imagine trying that with a chartplotter....

Or the constipated helmsman, who couldn't leave his post, so worked it out with a tiller pilot....

Of course, if he only had a windvane, he'd have been in trouble...

I know, so ridiculous when you get a speeding ticket for 60mph, while we make 1000mph all day long, if you drive from east to west you would even reduce the speed.

Only at the equator, relative to the centre of the earth.

Q: Can a kangaroo jump higher than the Empire State Building?
A: Of course. The Empire State Building can't even jump.

Why is it that your nose runs, but your feet smell?

If you ever get cold, just stand in the corner of a room for a while.
They're normally around 90 degrees.

Funny Gord, but in this case the Blonde is right, because Grasshoppers ears are actually located on their legs!
