Re: The New Joke Thread

Is Matrix algebra a Neo-concept??

Perhaps we need an Oracle to translate Adelie's remarks?

I know I didn't have to duck to get under that one....

Methinks you may have missed the movie reference

Edit:
I see Jason beat me to it.
(But may have missed the reference to the Oracle character)

Oh the shame... the maths nerd in me overrode the movie nerd in me.

At least now I know which bit is in control.

Multiply vectors? How do you do that if it's not co-linear? I know you can add vectors, that's how you plan a passage in tidal waters but how would 223 degrees at 6 knots multiplied by 17 degrees at 1 knot give you a valid answer?

Cheers

Re: The New Joke Thread

perhaps all the math and engineering nerds could start a new thread called

"the math nerd and engineer's super special joke thread" in which you could all thrlll yourselves with esoteric math and engineering 'rib slappers' such as multiplying co-linear vectors and such?

This would go a long way towards improving the joke to junk ratio of the thread - currently it's hovering at roughly 10 junk/unrelated posts per actual joke

Re: The New Joke Thread

Did you hear about the semi-colon that broke the law?
He was given two consecutive sentences.

I bought the world’s worst thesaurus yesterday.
Not only is it terrible, it’s terrible.

I’m only familiar with 25 letters in the English language.
I don’t know why!

My girlfriend walked out on me for being too old fashioned.
I thought we had good alchemy.
