Just to SOGGY {No thesaurus results. Personal?} appetite: {Sentence fragment.}

My DREARY got CAPITULATE (SIC. Tense. ..ED) when a RED wave hit us while getting under HEFT, just as I was removing the SPOUSAL from the COACHED anchor AVENUE. At the same time the main INDICATION {No thesaurus results. St. Nick?} tore out so I decided to FLING FURTHER.

I wait with ENTICEMENT SIGH for the {REDUNDANT WORD the} first person to correctly identify the number of errors in this post.

Noted error count: 20. Does that earn a beer?

BTW: My wife is out of area and I've got WAY too much time on my hands!

I make it spelling: 12; grammar: 6 for a total of 18.

So okay, you count them. I'm no good with numbers.

This thread is becoming way more fun than the regular programming .

So I get the double spacing after a full stop/period is a regional/cultural thing but what is the rationale of mixing the number of line spacings between different paragraphs?

Re: The New Joke Thread

Nope, 13 spelling errors plus misc punctuation errors, some arguable so I’m not counting those.

Re: The New Joke Thread

Anchors a-weigh, boys!

Stu was naughty, he mixed types of errors, and did not say which types he wanted caught, so we had to look for all of them. Not only punctuation, but a split infinitive! My grammar teacher would have had a heart attack. At my school, just regular teachers taught spelling. We must weigh the errors and decide whether the prize is a bridal gown we could walk down the road in, or even sail a dingy dinghy in.

Sorry, guys, back to the regular programming.

Re: The New Joke Thread

Need you ask? You released the grammar nutsy's (thanks, john), and those people who have puns before breakfast, and buns at supper time (and others we can't mention here). 'Twas a terrible thing you did.
