I thought all Gay's were men and all Lesbians were female?

Although overhearing what made a Lesbian that way, I discovered after 50+ yrs, I had been a Lesbian all along and never knew it?

As I understand it, whilst there are slightly more born, there are also a substantial amount more conceived, but being the weaker sex, we just don't make it all the way to birth.
