I am competing against some SERIOUS big time European
racing teams and there is probably no way in hell I could win the master class in Alicante,
Spain on the PUMA
racing boat but wouldn't it irk the hell out of the
racer dudes to have a seriously lazy sailor/cruiser win the class? I'm not so interested in the finer details of eeking out an extra .5
knot in speed but I'll take all the parking lessons I can get.
I'd love to win, it would be a kick in the pants. I sort of feel that I've already won, we are getting the boat rerigged by Dyneema and we are most assuredly- grateful!
