Sunset tonight over the shipyard

I was sitting here at the computer a few minutes ago - and noticed the colours of this sunset through the window behind.

Grabbing the camera - I ran up on deck and took this panorama - which is 5 shots merged.

I'm always taking panoramas - and lot's of sunrises and sunsets - so that friends and relatives now complain - 'Doesn't Rodney think we have any sunsets' - to which I reply - 'I wouldn't know, you never send me any pictures'

What's it like at your place right now?

Rodney

We won't be coming to visit Ohio - until it warms up just a bit.

And MarkJ - good onya! $15 steaks - pretty good

We're so poor - I had to share one of Penny's chicken necks.

Just kidding - she wouldn't share.

For maximum control and adjustment - I use Panorama Studio.

But for fast and easy - and pretty good results (like this) - Arcsoft Panorama Maker 4.

Although I did buy Panorama Studio - some time back - I now get most of my hundreds of programs free via direct file sharing download sites.

Perhaps - if you want the details - it would be best to email me privately - rather than give the download info here.

All of the photos though - have been resized and adjusted/corrected in Photoshop - before uploading - and I run all the general images through 'Advanced JPEG Compressor' as well - which quickly optimizes them to the smallest Kb size (adjustable) and still good viewing for the web.

We had a couple storms come through while I was away pheasant hunting in South Dakota. Got home to find the winter cover on the boat crushed.

This is our back yard.

Crushed with snow!

Sounds like pretty extreme boating conditions to me.

The boat cover was CRUSHED WITH SNOW!

And is that supposed to be a picnic setting in the yard??

UNDER SNOW !

That's the worst example of 'the cruising life' I've ever seen. About the best I can say - is it's a good argument to take your boat SOUTH! Before it is completely lost in the SNOW!

Recently at a nearby anchorage

This is one of the reasons we like it down here. No the Banana boat wasn't a problem...
