Started off the morning with rain and a cup of coffee. Now the sun is coming out and might make a nice fall day out of it afterall. As for the pancakes... cooked on the 16th and eating within minutes. lol Will make again tomorrow. You might have a problem making it in time from the UK but if you do I will cook some fresh ones for you. lol

San Francisco Bay; a balmy 85... Varnish on teak drying nicely.
Coffee and cocoa consumed.
The only thing that would be better would be a bit of wind ; -)

Flat calm, and 80*F here. Eggs Benedict and Ovaltine down the hatch.
Gonna change the 2 alternator belts and take Blue for a run to charge the batteries.
New exhaust hoses were last week.

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee and Weather
Well, it's sunny, no wind, and nice, balmy 10 C here in Amherstburg, Ontario Canada this morning. The coffee is brewing, I slept in a bit today, it's 9:30 a.m., worked past midnite last night...and we are supposed to get a cargo ship in today for a load of salt...so probably working until midnite again tonight.
After all the rain and wind that we have had in the last month, today is shaping up to be a beauty!

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning from Bob & Susan in SW Florida. It's sunny and cool this morning. Temps in the 70's expected today. I finished the paper, had breakfast, and prepared to fly to NC to visit my dad. Amapola is on the hard getting fresh bottom paint. Bob is working on a through-hull, new rudders, and other maintenance.

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee and Weather
I finished coffee at the local hangout and read part of Lee Child's "Bad Luck and Trouble", then listened to the retired oncologist talk about plowing his 650 acres and planting seeds for the winter. Codgy character about 74 years old. Suggested he take the day off, he said "Got another 85 acres to finish today. I have just opened the hangar sale to get rid of more junk and I am ready for more coffee. It is a pleasant 64 degrees just east of Dallas and we are all thankful for the !/2 to 3/4 inch of rain last nite. Can't wait untill everything or at least most of the junk is gone, then to the boat in Florida.. Happy days to all

Woke to frost on the ground here in Oshkosh, WI. 42 degrees at 8:00am. Enjoying a pot of home roasted Sumatra Peaberry. Boat came out on Friday. Worked on her most of the day yesterday. Still more to do.

Re: Sunday Morning Coffee and Weather
Mississauga Ontario, it was 1030am, Bright sunny day, first in about a week. 11C.
Fresh brewed cup of Van Houtens house brew with a shot of Southern Comfort. Had to tootle off to work in a couple of hours, so had a quick bowl of borscht for breakfast and a cheesy bun. Anyone looking for a superior borscht recipe let me know. I made up 18 quarts of it on friday. Its sitting out on the balcony because the pot is too big to fit in the fridge. I suppose I could have canned some of it. I may yet do so.
Yesterday I took the mast off of Kona Winds. Spent an hour wrestling with the motor, couldn't get it to run, so was towed to the crane and back. Haul out next weekend. I did get the new diesel up into Sabre Dances' cockpit so I can start working on the mounts as soon as I get the winter cover back up.
