Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Going to Louseyanny Zee? I was there for 5 yrs living among the Cajuns and ran a small marina at the edge of the Atchafalaya Basin (swamp) before moving on board over here in NC. Some great people there. I still get a couple of phone calls per week from friends there trying to talk me into taking my boat over there to finish the refit.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Yeah, a bit chilly for me too. Worse over here. That's why this boat's going to Florida before November, ready or not.
Me a teaser. Never. Did I mention that the last woman who tasted my chicken and dumplings said, "OMG, where have you been all my life?", and her husband was sitting right next to her.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Wow, tough call. Maybe someday you can tell me. I filleted the Black Drum, wrapped it in foil greased with butter and when it was perfect, put the fish with the "broth" into a black iron skillet with a stick of butter, Rotel tomatoes, chopped green onion, a sprinkle of creole seasoning and black pepper, a little garlic and simmered it covered while I cooked rice. Spooned the cubion over the rice and.....HMMM!

For those hungry monkeys that are watching our waist, substituting butter with light olive oil and adding lemon to fishy and rice will make smiley monkeys!

Does that mean I have to start all over?
Fifty pesos?? Must have high class workers there. That's more than four dollars. Ouch.
