Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hi,
I'm a 54yo, divorced male architect looking to island hop in my Irwin 32. I feel like it all would be a lot more fun with a compatible female cruising partner (plus safer when piloting into a protected reef while surveying the coral heads from up on the spreaders).

I am interested in joining the group. I've updated my profile to include marital status, current cruising companion. I also took the opportunity to compose a new signature in the form of a haiku:

Single sailor seeks...
Is it soulmate or soulmates?
(Two are too many).

Now in haiku mode
Articulating questions
Refrigeration?

Head ain't got no door
Quiet and not in the way
Would a she want one?

Great big genoa
Removable inner stay
Nylon drifter, too.

How 'bout the galley?
Is alcohol hot enough?
Must one have charcoal?

Fatty Knees lifeboat
You know, like the Pardey's have
Somebody's got to edit!

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

frugal--alcohol stoves are great for usa sailing and cruising, but not available in mexico-- not certain on caribbean availability-- might need a propane stove.
other wise, ye sound cruise ready-- welcome to the group.

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I am at work bored beyond belief. There is no place more boring then a Harley dealership in January in Wi.

LOL, true. sale's or wrench? I wrenched many years in dealerships and aftermarket. It was always a good time to work on my own bike, and dream of boats, nothing else to do.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

I'm a mechanic , I've been doing it for over 20 years aftermarket and dealership. I'm pretty burned out on it though it's not what it used to be that made it fun.
