Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hello,

Am a single female in my early 50's who loves sailing. I'm in pretty good shape, still kinda cute and have good sea legs. I was away from sailing for years and then 3 years ago joined a sailing group locally. I have mostly day sailed and crewed for lake regatta's in the South, and have spent week ends on the Chesapeake in years past. Enjoy deep sea fishing. I'm a pretty good cook, love traveling. Only thing missing is a great guy, would be great to meet someone who shares a passion for sailing. I have a flexible lifestyle and good amount of freedom to travel.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hi
Single 65 year old male who is currently sailing on a Norseman 447 in the Malaysia Thailand region ( with my kitten Bosun) , not sure where I am heading too but certainly Indonesia In thenew year.
I have just finished a major refit in Thailand, (Satun), I am certainly not the control freak type of person an are very relaxed, I tend not to spend a lot of time stuck in marinas, but enjoy the friends an social life of cruising . Not looking for any type of Gally slave or cleaner as these tasks are always shared on board, as are all tasks an jobs including decision making .

I could say I enjoy long walks on the beach an red wine in front of the fire, but up here the flys would get you on the beach walk an a fire is way to hot.

be great to catch up with some one who is interested in similar life style an adventure,

Cheers
Phil

I guess this is where I request membership? If so, then I request membership.

Thanks,

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Please be more specific regarding where to go. Seearch did not return "Huge Heart" and I have no idea what "user cp" is.

Thanks
Ron
P.S.
I am not married.

Hi Ron.

The forum interface is a bit challenging if you are new to online forums. Let's see if I can get you to where you can request membership.

The following is how it appears on my screen.
Scroll all the way up to the top.....or is that scroll down to the top? It's ass backwards to the Millenials.....from how I learned it....anyway, get to the top of the page!
Look about 1/3rd the way down from the top of the page and there is a blue highlighted line all the way across. The following words are all in the blue highlighted line:

Upgrade User CP Vendors FAQ Community Calendar New Posts Search Quick Links Log Out

Click on "User CP"
This will take you to Your Control Panel.
Look down the left hand side under Networking for Social Groups.
Click on Social Groups

In the middle of the screen will be a section called New Groups.
Scroll down and click on View All Groups.
Look for the group with a big red heart called Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mates. Click on it....

Somewhere it will say it is a Moderated Group and you have to request membership. Request membership and then after you get accepted post a thread about yourself.

I hope this helps.
