Small, but important, personal achievements

Today, for the first time in my life, I super glued something back together and did NOT glue one of my fingers to another. Not a single person was around to witness it, so I doubt anyone will believe me, but I did it!

What have any of you done?

I once juggled a head of lettuce, an M&M, and a tennis ball. It went well for several seconds... until I ate the M&M.

Re: Small, but important, personal achievements

I was gluing an old family ornament back together that our grand daughter had "accidentally" knocked over from a shelf 2 feet above her head.

It was a statute of William Wallace, of whom my wife is a decedent, so I had to have it completed before she came home from work....about 2 hours.

I had it all back together and looking so good my wife would never know what had happened, until such time as it would not be so drastic.

I was quite proud of myself until............I discovered that I had glued his head piece on backwards. It was broken in such a way that unless one took a good look it was easy to make this mistake...a clean break.

But I was caught as soon as the wife walked into the living room.

I should be out of the pervial dog house in just a few more years.

Today I walked into the bedroom and remembered what I went in there for.
Of course it took me two tries, but still.
