Shameless use of the Moderator
Hey Gord, why close a thread saying...
"Methinks that the partisan politics might better be reserved for Fox news, and such."
...when making such a statement is just as partisan? No chance you might be a liberal choosing to uniquely cite Fox News above...
Funny stuff

his statement could have said CNN, or just "the news".
I thought it was funny.

To be honest, I'm a non-partisan conservative. I was just trying to point out that the current race has gotten out of hand when it affects the use of our safety channel.
I will add, in a non-partisan way, that we could use Reagan style leadership right now.

Point taken - I could have just said “news”; although those who primarily watch Fox News are significantly more likely to have misperceptions, while those who primarily listen to NPR or watch PBS are significantly less likely to be misinformed.

Great link. I am going to sit by the fire today and read the whole report. I am sure it only points out what I have long suspected...

Gord, couldn't resist huh?
It's all good guys, let's just agree that it's a tough time for America and let's also hope that Bidden's prediction doesn't come true.

one thought,
Getting information about military concerns from a university seems like asking the cat if the dog should be let back in.
I wouldn't ask the monohull guys which cat was the most seaworthy.
to be honest I haven't read the full report but I'll look at it when I can.

Less likely to be misinformed by listening to NPR or CNN?
BOTH those sources are the mouthpieces of the Left!
CNN isn't called the Clinton News Network for nothing.
And Fox just happens to be owned by Rupert Murdoch (LA Times owner), one of the biggest Lefties out there who is a buddy of George Soros, both zillionaires who contribute heavily to the DNC.
The difference between Fox and CNN, NBC, etc is Fox isn't as far to the left as the rest.
drh1965 was correct in saying the comment was in itself a political shot and a form of getting your own thought out there while silencing the rest.
Not only that it was a backhanded way to get in the last word.
JMHO.

Met quite a few PhDs in my career. They all know one thing and ussually have that one thing pretty well down.
These polls unfortunately have several aspects: history, politics, and statistics. If the questions are asked correctly and the numbers crunched properly any outcome is possible.
ie,
is it a good thing to have extra space to walk around the deck of a boat?
is it fun to sail fast?
is it safer to heal over less?
so the only conclusion is that catamarans are the only boat to have.

Seems saying "....Fox news, and such" with the "and such" addition covers all the bases.
