Too bad there is no way to preserve the knowledge and mental abilities of such amazing individuals.

Re: RIP Stephen Hawking

I read both of his books, and despite being scientifically minded to a degree, found portions of them largely inaccessible. And that's after he did his best to simplify the concepts for the masses.

To think that he formulated and refined his theories without being able to put pen to paper in any easy way. Talk about fortitude and psychological resilience...it's just mind boggling

Yes, it's hard to express adequate admiration. RIP, indeed.

You'll have noted the absence of his two partners during the sycophancy since his death.

If you're interested enough, search the Net for "Stephen Hawking" "domestic abuse".

You'll find stories going back quite some years about mental abuse (from him to his partners), infidelity (by him), and physical abuse (from his partners to him in response to his psychological torture of them and his infidelity).

A very messy story. Covered up (and contributed to) by the male sycophants around him. You'll note the absence of female sycophants around SH, no?

I'll say no more. What good does it do to speak ill of the dead (unless it is to create a culture of intolerance to domestic abuse, eh)?

Although disheartened by news of his passing, I find it consoling that he passed on Pi Day. The mathematical formula that is celebrated for it being infinite. 3.14.............................................

To infinity and beyond!
