Every notice how in all the "end of the world as we know it" movies the day is saved (or at least assisted) and/or the connection with the last vestiges of "civilization" is the short wave radio.
For anyone out there that requires pharmaceuticals I suggest fineding an alternative (that actually works). I have a mild case of epilepsy, which was for centuries (and in some places still is) controled without AMA supported meds.

Don't forget the SEEDS !! if ya got seeds ya got food forever !! Connie got me carrying them when we started sailing together Way back there! we planted a couple of small plots where there was some dirt and water and did some daysailin around the other Islands in the place we were! and when we started getting food we canned and ate till it was done then we went someplace else with way more food then we need for about 6 mos when ya add in fish !! just a thought! we now have kit we keep in the freezer it's good for about 5 yrs or more if kept frozen, has enought seed to last forever if ya let your plants go to seed ya will aways have food !!
