This thread was moved out of public view while the moderator team discussed it's appropriateness. We decided that it simply is not something we care to discuss here on CF. We're not saying that the topic isn't an important matter in terms of world politics, international relations, human rights, etc.--it certainly is.

What's true, however, it's not a subject for discussion on Cruisers Forum. This forum was created to provide a place for folks with a passion for cruising and boating to discuss and ask and answer questions on those topics. There are plenty of other Internet venues for political and world affairs discussions.

I've restored this thread, but have deleted all the posts that followed the first one. I've restored it, in spite of the fact that it's off-topic to CF's core subjects, simply as a courtesy, so that anyone who was wondering where the thread went will know know what was done, and why.
