As they were happily planing across the lake, the proud new boat owner's girl friend was heard to have said "What happens if you pull this lever back?"
Damn those new fangled power boats have some power

This reminds me of an Airforce exersise some years back. They decided to drop a tank out the back of a C130 Herc with Cargo chutes attached. But I think someone miss calculated the weight or something. To everyones horror, the chutes quickly broke free and the Tank free falled to the ground. The noise as it whistled through the air was like nothing you have ever heard before. It sunk into the ground up to the gun barrel. And it ain't no soft ground around here.

Wonder if that forklift driver needed a new pair of underwear as he drove of the ramp?
Looks like a 1000 KG bomb on the forks.

Yeah, I can't tell for sure, but that doesn't look like a practice shot, either.

While sailing over the weekend, a friend with us (former Navy officer) was telling us about having to wrassle a loose torpedo from a destroyer escort, during a hurricane. Seems the restraining bolts broke during the storm and the torpedo -- a war shot, to boot -- was coming out of the tube, banging against the side of the ship.

He admitted having to change his underwear.

Maybe some of these moments could be sold to Hanes or Stanfields for Underwear commercials. The caption could be " We make them strong and disposable for moments like these". LOL
