If they would study boaters more they would know there aready is alien life on the planet.

It's not aliens we need to worry about, it Hoodoo's. You know, those strange animals that will shut off your shore power or pull your plug in the night. If the government can find the Hoodoo's we will all be better off.

DOJ, you still have to ground your overhead otherwise it works as a brainwave radiator which the aliens can read. 
As often as aliens supposedly visit I would think there would be hard physical evidence by now.
