I think that someone has been listening to we sailors complaining about the wind always coming from the direction we want to go!!!!

Wouldn't it be nice to hit the waves straight on rather then having to roll over them on a beat. Even the bows of boats could be designed to take head on hits and cut thru like reverse bows.

DeepFrz, we don't have plans for that houseboat, but theres a bunch of em down the Bayou!! I would be glad to take some pics of the best of em for ya if you wish!! nothing like a GOOD house boat !!

The windward catamaran appears to be only be able to go to windward. Once steering off the wind the mill stops or slows and then going downwind would reverse the prop. There are a few details that need a bit of work.
I guess I'm just being critical of the nautical oddities.

i guess thats why primitive gear boxes existed in wind mills 1000 years ago,so the drive could be turned to face the wind.

It's just a prototype. It would have to have a pivoting mill with a gear box for 360ļ rotation. Not EZ to do on such a small scale, economically.
Down wind, once in motion, the mill would probably not turn very fast.
And on a reach might even blowdown, unless they make them wider with more ballast on the windward side like a proas rig.
