Sheesh. I'm 68 years old! I get told it'll take four years - let alone seven - I'm running her aground on a beach at King Tide and throwing rocks and logs under the hull as the tide falls. Make her a beach house! Either that or putting her on the market "Äs Is Where Is" and packing my duffle bag... Pull a Gauguin and disappear in French Polynesia.

Well to be honest, there were a couple of long periods when I didn't get much done. During that seven years I had to deal with some serious family issues, a new job, some graduations and one serious injury that put me out for six months. It was really a weekend and after work hobby for a lot of the time. If I had hit it full time I could have pulled it out in half the time.
