You do know that they made a Gunboat 90? Might as well dream big. The Powerball is $100 mill on Saturday. Sorry, Webejammin you are a loser.

On the second thought, giving our present ship a complete face lift would be oh so sweet a project too.

Re: If I Won the Lottery - What Boat to Buy ?

Going totally against the grain here, except for a couple, but i have had umpteen yachts, the largest being a 42'Colvin Gazelle, and found that to be too big really for doing "little' sailing as well as cruising. Therefore my choice would be a Fisher 32, i know all the minuses, but i have always wanted one and here in Australia, that wheelhouse would be so good as a sun block. The rest of the money would just be a great cruising kitty, and a lot of "pleasures" money.

Coops.

Re: If I Won the Lottery - What Boat to Buy ?

If i hit it big...100mil plus

I would buy a little monohull called the Braveheart of Sark!!! or one just like it if she wasnt for sale.

Anything over 1+mil and I'd get a nice Hans Christian 38

I plan on living aboard my Alberg 30 so any of the above boats would be icing on the cake. BTW, I would NOT sell my Alberg!!!

What is the debate about? You only have to narrow it down to 10 or 20. Why do you think you can only have one? Some people just don't dream big enough... (In my mind I own a fleet.).

Re: If I Won the Lottery - What Boat to Buy ?

It better be a big jackpot to support my tastes! I'd do a custom carbon fiber (hull and rig) build of something like this Bombigher design. Failing that I'd always be happy to take the Maltese Falcon for a ride!
