I was flying back from St. Petersburg (Russia) and ...

I happened to view a film about the Vendee Globe single handed around the world race. Wow. What an event. Every four years. So all of a sudden I'm thinking about owning a sailboat. Really haven't done much sailing since I crewed on one designs back in high school (Ensign class). Anyway, I guess that's it ....

Google Bruce Schwab and Vendee, he was the first American to finish, in his Ocean Planet.

Now a leading vendor of marine electrical gear, and quite active in these forums.
