So I say lets just put the sick turtles back in the water so they can crap there.... and die. The level of some people’s stupidity just floors me!

Well then, I wonder what happens to these animals when they die in the water?
more contamination and pollution.
How about this then, best thing would be to fish them all out before they get a chance to die and decay into the water.

The ocean is a soup full of nasties that cleans itself up. Pirates included, everything eventually ends up in the sea. Dont go into the water, it might just kill you.
