How was your boat ride today?

Testing the new cell phone camera. It didn't do too bad for what it is. We enjoyed a good afternoon & evening on our favorite stretch of the St. Lawrence River. BBQ Steak in the old Galop Canal and ice cream dockside in Morrisburg. Boat's running absolutely perfect!

Admiral KnottyGirls easing herself into the 70 deg St. Lawrence river.

Wait a minute honey I'll get the scrub brush and you can clean the hull ok?

KG keeping a keen eye out for floating hazards such as weed paddies and dumb ducks and mythical sea creatures.

Ahhhhhhh 25 kts and only 2.5 mpg!

Approach to Iroquois Seaway lock and the control dam on the left. We're small enough to fit through the two open gates in the dam.

The obligatory sunset pic. It was a wonderful day on the water. We should have had more days like this all summer.

Looks like a great day out.

Looks like rescue pooch is scratching his head about the port/starboard indicator on the dash. How does that work?

I think the search dog is playing a joke on Skippy.

She does the navigation. I just drive the boat. If she pointed us to warmer waters I wouldn't have any say in the matter!

She's the one who turns the red/green buoy thing. Again, I just drive the boat!
