Happy Memorial Day Everyone !

For those of you that served or gave the ultimate price...I give you my sincere gratitude, for you have made a difference.

For those of you that this day brings a tear and a sad heart...I give you my sincere sympathy, for you have undergone a great sacrifice.

For those of you who now carry the torch...I give you my greatest respect, for you are our hope.

May Gods grace, peace, blessings and Heavens greatest rewards be bestowed onto you all....Amen

My I add to your sentiment by saying that, I would like to thank all that served and those who are serving today. They give and gave for the rest of us. May we give back on more that just one day.

I actually took this weekend off (rare) and am enjoying the freedom to do as I please.

I have stopped frequently in realizing that I am quite the lucky one. I am alive to enjoy what they fought for and cannot enjoy..........sad.

Might I respectfully note that "happy" memorial day is a bit of an oxymoron.

Let us just give thanks to those that have perished, those that have served and to those that are serving, please be safe.

Whether you are in an anchorage, in your home or in harms way, our best wishes as Americans goes with you.

Please raise a glass of your favorite beverage (if available) and give thanks to those that have gone before us or are now in service, for we appreciate them in whatever manner they have served or are serving.

Remember and Honour those who have given their lives...

But better yet remember those who have given... yet still live amongst us and carry the scars and trauma's of past and present conflicts...

To often are they forgotten and cast aside...
