It seems like only yesterday, I was mustering out of the USN, walking down the gang plank for the last time when the celebration of the 200th birthday party was occurring.

Since The United States Marine Corps is part of the United States Navy do Marines get to celebrate today and Nov 10th the Marine Corps Birthday.If so I'm in.

Of course! You get to celebrate both. I've never known a Marine to skip a reason to celebrate anything.

1975 was the year I made Chief and was sent from Germany to Coronado, CA. Pretty good year. Lots of good sailing in San Diego Bay.
