Nino year or what?
Wheres the West arm of the Gulf stream?
Wheres the loop current?
There seems to be a small isolated spot in the western part of the gulf that has some velocity. But no where else. (Got this from Passageweather).

Not clear to me what you are asking, but there is loads of Gulfstream/Gulf Loop current data available via NOAA/OPC etc. Link to graphic of GOM currents today below. The Gulf Loop current extends quite far to the NW now.
