Guantanamo, U.S. Anchorage

Being retired U.S. Military and soon to resume my cruising, is it possible to anchor in Gitmo and restock/provision via commissary and BX???

Would love to hear the answer to this. My assumption is "no," but that's just an assumption being that Gitmo is pretty high security. Anybody know for sure?

I certainly hope not. But chalk one up for the good olé' military industrial complex if you can. They outta pit in one of those super cheap marinas like you're in now and they have in keys, Hawaii and a bunch of other prime spots.

My understanding is NO. If you pull in there it better be for emergency reasons. My wife was down there last year on business and had talked to some coastie's she ran into there just about that.
