Re: Frustrating...

You mean posts like this that head off topic because someone took umbrage at someone else’s post?

Re: Frustrating...

I would add that the way this forum is designed (pretty much ALL forums), is they tend to support abstraction. For instance, when I click on a link to a question that I am certain I have never seen before, it often puts me on page 2+, so the first post I see is some convoluted reply completely unrelated to the OP and I am left wondering what the original question was.

Perhaps a better forum display would have the original question statically displayed on the left, and the rest of the forum responses on the right, or something along those lines.

Re: Frustrating...

An anecdote comes to mind ...

A bunch of adults were having a conversation when my niece, who was about 2-years-old, stomped into the room and yelled: "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!!" As any 2-year-old does, she wanted to be the centre of attention, and to have everyone do as she demanded.

The adults in the room just ignored her ... well, all except me . She was so darn cute, I couldn't resist.

Umbrage... that’s a good one... I had to Google that one. But I was still talking on the OP topic.

+1 to Don again...
