Woke to 8" of snow yesterday, the first of the season. Double espresso andy husband's famous breakfast sandwich. Dreaming about April when we will be on our boat for good in the VI.

Weather in SW Florida is beautiful. 71 this morning, 80 this afternoon. Family is visiting to excape the cold. Amapola is still on the hard while we make rudder, prop, & skeg modifications.

Stuck at home, 25th floor, overlooking Vancouver's False Creek, where we normally keep our boat, which my wife and 3 other women are out on for a 4 day 'ladies cruise course." Its sunny and mild, I'm sipping my coffee, and browsing this site, which is as close to sailing as I can get, since, well, did I mention my wife and boat are out for a ladies only sail...?
