He did mention something about the mods not making him very happy. Maybe he is taking a break.

I have a feeling he's met a new lady who is teaching him culture and language in exchange for his teaching her, uh, the magic of the Willy of Oz, er the Wizard I mean. He'll be bach.

Markie was quite specifically warned about prospective penalties for destroying the habitat of an endangered species (see http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ole-67020.html ). Evidently he chose to ignore that warning and went ahead and hauled his boat anyway. It is likely he is now paying the penalty.

Let his fate be a warning to the like minded...

Re: Did MarkJ Divorce Us ?

As I advised* on October 14:

Mark is well, and enjoying the facilities at Medregal Village in the Gulf of Cariaco (Venezuela).

He was planning to haul out there to paint the bottom.

He says:

“... The area is far from the crime centers, in fact to far from bloody anywhere!
Its an hour to get to the closest town to which we drive once per week and another hour to the larger town that actually has useful shops.
I knew this would be so and had bought everything I need for the haul out in Grenada.
Its also giving me a great break to save some money and have a large
swimming pool, bar and $7 per night French Restaurant every night! It really is the budget cruisers dream for the hurricanes season. However its far too far from civilization. Meeting local girls is just not possible!!
Next (northern) summer I am heading up the US coast to New York and then to come slowly down the Intercoastal waterway ...”
