Mark has no worries. The first thing Nicolle said when they got on my little boat was, "My, what a small winch handle you have!"
That didn't stop Mark from spending a bit of time with my winch handle. We had great fun on a twilight race with Mark's excellent trimming securing a respectable 4th for Relax Lah! Of course it wouldn't be a Changi twilight race without some ship dodging. Of course, Mark kept saying, "Get closer. You ain't even close yet."
Mark and Nicolle did seem fascinated with Doritos and the local brew (Tiger). Nicolle being the level headed one stuck to juice...
And I must say what a great couple they are. After 1 1/2 years at sea they are so lovey dovey.
What a great weekend!

It is so cool when the internet brings friends with common interests together like this. Of course, you could have met in some other forum, like those one for meeting...

So cool!... Enjoy!...
The size of the winch handle doesn't matter - it is how well it cranks the winch....

Yeah, Dans photos are carefull editied.... I clearly see Nic tying to get her arm around him!
Great fun weekend!
By the way, the ship did not change course when I screamed out "SAIL" in English, Singlish, Malaysian, Chineese and Swahili! I felt like a 16yo in Brisbane!
