Comparison of Boardings

Not sure if this should go somewhere else or not, but this seemed to be a good place for this.
Karen Toast Conger posted this interesting blog today:
Encountering Authority
It is amusing and I found it a very interesting comparison of boardings in three countries.
The Congers are currently cruising in Mexico.
(Hope you don't mind me posting a link to your article, Toast! )

Thanks for that.

Wonderful reading and very funny. Embarrassing to me though, being American and all.

That is so the Mexican Navy I have encountered. Young draftees with guns and a good attitude. Super polite and friendly. The Canadian CG is part of the dept. of fisheries and is not part of the military like the USCG. Probably explains most of the attitude difference in how they do things.

No worries... Just embarrassed it took me this long to track back and thank you for the link. Cruising is wrecking havoc with my social networking ninja skills.
