Yeah, diapers, it's the sh!ts, isn't it
Congrats to Pat and Ali. I like their "joie de vivre" approach.

Re: Bumfuzzles Are On The Move and Sailing
That's not how you have a baby! I'll tell you what I would have done, if you want to hear. First off, I wouldn't have done what they did. They don't know what they're doing! What they should have done, and what most people who know what they're doing would have done...
Ah, hell. I guess they do know what they're doing. Nicely done, you crazy Bums!

I am glad they are OK.
I read the blog of the delivery and don't understand (probably because he is not a medical person). This was going to be a known C-section? She had one previously? (I don't remember) An epidural for a section? Usually it is a spinal anesthesia.
Anyway,
All seems well.
Congrats Bums!

Yes, it was a known C-section performed by the same doctor in the same hospital as the first one, probably using the same procedure initially. Pat admits after the fact that his description of events was probably more dramatic than what the reality was.
I'm not a medical doctor and don't play one on TV, but I thought an epidural was a spinal anesthesia.
Anyway -- everyone is doing fine -- except possibly for Ouest once she realizes the little guy is here to stay!

Heh . . . you probably have that right, sailorgal. I imagine that Ouest is going to become even closer to her Papa these first weeks/months as Ali's attention is devoted to little Alejandro Manuel Enrique.

epidural and spinal are both in the back. Not the same at all though. Just the general location.
Here to stay and get most of the attention too.
