A bell is required to be sounded in fog...thats the rules. Ridiculous?..perhaps. But if thats what the rules require then you need to have one onboard. I have no problem with having a bell onboard even though I have never needed it because of my electric sound signal.

As I have said in the Past, not all the Cat1 standard is bad. Just one or two points.
Noe Ties sent me an email today saying their inspection is done. I will ask him to pop in here and let us know the details.
Actualy even better, I will ask him if he can start a new thread on Cat1.
