Boat Humor for the Mathematically Inclined

I am reading Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow and came to this formula:

___1__ d(cabin) = log cabin + c = houseboat
(cabin)

Yeah I know - everyone else probably saw this in high school, but I was too busy reading other literature that was more, um, "photography-related".

I like:

The integral of e to the x equals the function of u to the n.

I don't know how to write in on the computer, but it
looks cool written on a math class chalkboard.

Can anybody write it in mathspeak here?
