Annapolis Boat Shopping 8-29-09

Leslie and I decided on a whim to drive to Annapolis today to browse boats. Can anyone recommend a huge marina where we can just stroll around looking? Would it be improper to just walk up and down the dock peering at and discussing people's boats? We're hoping to spot some of the boats that we've only seen online (Westsail 32, Pacific Seacraft). Go around to Port Annapolis Marina in Back Creek. Forest Drive to Edgewood Rd. to Bembe Beach Rd.

Crusader Yacht Sales is there. They're good folks and won't pressure you if you want someone to show you around.

Thank's! We're going to have a blast today! Been studying boats and their systems 6-10 hours a day for about a month and It's going to be great to view these boats with a new eye. Thanks for the tip. Should I speak to the manager to let him/her know our intentions? Eric

We saw some gorgeous boats at Port Annapolis today! A very friendly woman gave us a tour of her liveaboard Beneteau and now Leslie is not only convinced that our decision to follow through on living "the dream" is the correct one but is wildly enthusiastic about it. "I can do this!" she says.
We were feeling a little overwhelmed with all that we need to learn and do and needed the emotional boost that seeing all those amazing boats and meeting those very friendly people gave us. Thanks fellas for the tip on where to go.Now it's back to studying. Eric
