....And in we go...

It is the Victoria Day long weekend here and the traditional start of the boating season. Saturday was warm - 25C or around 73F and sunny. Yesterday was cloudy, about 7C or 46F, windy and threatening rain, so clearly the best day to slide the boat in the water for the season

Hopefully this year I will not travel as much and be blessed with mostly day shifts so we can enjoy the season a little more. Rick has a little more work to do on the wiring, but hopefully that will be completed by the time I get home from work and we can have our first cruise and BBQ tonight

Down here in Toronto, we launched May 5 (and a couple of the other clubs did it the week before.) Weather has been pretty good, aside from a couple of cold, thundery days. Got some saling in, which is what matters.

But while I would like to be on the water for Vicki's Day, I'm hanging out in the Washington Convention Center. OTOH, NEXT weekend should be great because I have a few days off.

I realize I actually have nothing to say, but this at least will get that annoying "you-haven't-posted-lately" message off the top of the screen.
