Trickle down is coming sooner than you think. I've just done a delivery from Hawaii to PNW on a Gunboat with mostly professional crew on board and even though we hit speeds in the mid 20's it would have been awesome to have some foils underneath us. Sure, it's not for the masses or the Mom and Pop teams, but why not for some? And to be clear, I'm fine with " slow " traditional boats too - love my 49 year old steel mono.
