Hey, Virginia, just go to youtube and find what you want, highlight and copy the URL, open a post here, click the "insert link" icon (below smiley at top), right click _Paste_execute. But you're an iraqi war vet, yes?

Damn-This is like an orange micro dot induced flashback! Far Out, outasite, right on. Thanks for the memories. P.S. No defense of Nixon, but the Ohio National Guard at Kent State was under the command of the state's adjudant general and governor, not the President.

Re: "Aging hippies music thread"
Ah, someone mentioned Donovan, "The English Bob Dylan" who believed that? This was my favourite of his.The Intergalactive laxative.
And Melanie was big then.
I am enjoying this.
Coops.

Re: "Aging hippies music thread"
Since I can't copy urls I'll just toss up a few I liked from around that era since I wasn't born till 1983. Janice Joplin, Mott the Hoople, Pink Floyd , Deep Purple... especially the Blackmore solo from live from the Olympia disc. And if you liked Black Sabbath, Pantera did a good cover of "Planet Caravan"
And now they just classify that group as New age.

Re: "Aging hippies music thread"
And Since I forgot to mention it in the last post. I got a jacket made from 100% leather that used to be my dads. It's leather stitched in leather with boiled hard leather buttons.

An icon for that era that's still cranking them out.
