Nice videos. I hope you guys ate that entire shark as opposed to having a few bites and throwing the rest away...

Re: Abacos Bahamas sailing video Part 4

The Endeavour 35 has been a great boat for us. We are continually learning to sail it better but she is fast and very roomy for a 35 footer. Hope to see you out there, we'll keep an eye out.

If I'm not too curious where are you planning to cruise starting in spring? Or you have already set sails?
Hope to see you somewhere soon.

Re: Abacos Bahamas sailing video Part 4

We are on the hard in the Chesapeake bay. We Have been rebuilding our cruising kitty and plan to be back in the water no later than June 1 and we plan to sail north to Maine and winter in the Bahamas again. There is so much to see, the Chesapeake stopped us and we did not think it would be worth the stop. Three months later and we were in love. Hope all is well with your outfitting and if we can be of help just drop a note!

Re: Abacos Bahamas sailing video Part 4

Thank you. We can exchange ideas and experience on the boat. Mine is a 1984.
we bought it last June from a nice couple who had her since new.
we have spend the year putting her to our taste and fitting her to be ready going at sea (Keys, Bahamas, Gulf of Mexico), not finished yet... We are retiring in one year and willing to spend winter month on the boat.
feel free to email me if you wish.
My email is: dayone1984 at aol.com.

Of course we ate the whole shark! It is a shame more people do not know their way around the galley. Shark can be wonderful table fare with very little effort and the microwave is not what I had in mind. Explore, dream, discover and while your at it, take some cooking lessons!

Damn Cowboy (Wyoming Pirate) you get around
IIRC we fed 40+ meals from that Bull shark and fine tasting at that.
Looking forward to seeing you guys this spring and laughing about past adventures while planning new ones.

PS: Give Lorie a hug for us.

Re: Abacos Bahamas Sailing Video Part 4

I've got about 4,000nm under my own boat's keel since October 2008, including Charleston to George Town Exuma and back via the island hopping route. Going down to Grenada solo starting in November (again via the island hopping route). Is that enough walking for you?
I've seen far too many people catching and killing more fish than they could eat simply for the "sport" of it. Eat what you catch or throw it back while it's still alive.

I could not agree more! Why are you attacking me? What part of I eat what I catch do you not understand? This is a thread about my sailing movies not a place to vent some issue you may have with fish killers. I'm glad you sail your boat and have some miles under your keel and I'm sure there is a place to vent your anger, but thus is not it. See you out there!

Hey guy, I was defending myself, not attacking you. You guys are the ones highlighting quotes and talking about having each others back and walking the walk for some reason(?). All I did was say that I hope you didn't wantonly waste fish.
