...but after a few days of the goat butting its' head into every conversation, not to mention other things, it grew old. So finding out that we couldn't stay in the marina any longer without insurance we decided to head back out.
So after setting sail with no real plans, like a REAL cruiser, a couple of days went by and we found we hadn't stocked the gallery or filled the water tanks. As we pondered what to do Atoll suddenly said "hey there are too many new taxes in the Med so lets head to Cuba". They thought about it a second or so and ........

and dance the night away and after a night of lots of rumba and tumbla its time to head out into the world of $700,000.00 tuna fish and try to catch a few so that the crusing kitty can go from 500 a month to $1,000,000 a month..hell if we only catch one that has been bitten in half we could live a lot better than we have been said Helga to the drunken and smelly pirate capt. that had been found on the streets of Rio huffing glue with street wise kids who had forgotton there names and didnt want to go home anyway, what they really wanted was to go sailing with...

Re: A sailing story thread - feel free to add
Now that we are out our multi-day haze, we start thinking about how we can actually get back to sailing.

Re: A sailing story thread - feel free to add
"We don't need no drogue! We have some perfectly good buckets we can just toss off the stern with a rope. After all we know that a good bucket can just stop a boat in the water!"
Everyone thought it over until Lumpy says "hey can't we just hang 20' of chain and 200' of nylon out insted? I might need that bucket for something!"
Either way everyone agreed that we needed to get underway before we had to pay taxes on the boat. So the rum was restocked and the anchor wayed and we all headed ...
