I bought a $40.00 atv winch remote control from Harbor Freight, converted to the anchor winch, works like a champ! I single hand, it make's dropping and pulling much easier and safer if the winds up.

That's a great one. I just ordered some shadecloth. (We've hung towels on occasion).

Along those same lines -- I bought some cheap insect screening to hang from the bimini. We don't use it often, but once in a while in light air we encounter a swarm of biting flies that drives us crazy, and this has been a salvation.

The cheapest way to buy the fabric was to get "garage door screen" from Amazon, and that also had the advantage of coming with some finished edges (so we didn't need to sew them all). We marked cut it to size, and added some 1" black cloth edging tape where needed. We sewed some plastic coated curtain weights onto the bottom every 2 feet. Total project cost was a few hours of labor and less than $50 in materials. We put it up with clothes pins (and pairs of strong "rare earth" refrigerator magnet dots).

+ Good day packs to properly enjoy shore excursions.

+ HDPE 2000ml rectangular prism labware storage bottles by Nalgene for storing chemicals, coffee, anything I want safely and impermeably stored.

+ Swapping and moving to midline the small double basin sink for a giant, just as deep, single basin and simplifying the plumbing--better, more useful, sink and three times the accessible, low, and more midline, storage volume. (Aka how I found room for the 20qt pressure canner and more).

+ Upgrading the dim cool light LED retrofit bulbs to brighter, warm light LED retrofit bulbs. Indistinguishableb from incandescent, 30x less energy. Kakuanua is the brand name, I think--Amazon.

You also want what is called full duplex, like a telephone....

The type of Bluetooth SENA uses has about a 1000 yard range and it is full duplex. My wife and I had those on our motorcycle helmets so we could talk while riding. Mind you, she was on her on her own motorcycle, not the back of mine.

Back on topic: LuminAid (https://luminaid.com) makes several LED light units which are charged by built-in solar cells, or through USB. Waterproof, some versions with different color lights, and variable intensity. We hang one in the cockpit at night while relaxing, then inside with us. With the choice of where to hang it and the intensity, it is more versatile than the fixed interior lights.
