Switchable dual red/white LED for dome lights from Marinebeam.
Think were $20. ...just flick switch again to go from red to white
and silly easy install.

Re: Your favourite small purchase

A 14-16 AWG butt connector to splice the tachometer wire that I broke last time I pulled the 50 gallon holding tank to change the exhaust manifold. Had to pull the poopy tank again to change out the engine belt driven coolant circulating pump on the front of the stb. engine. Seemed like it was preordained to fix the broken wire. Not a job I would wish on my worst enemy. Wait. I don't think I have any worst enemies except possibly myself.

Portable shade cover for Dodger and center cockpit.
From Home Depot ,,,under $50
6ea. 10' lengths of 1/2 PVC pipe, when joined in pairs = 20'
Make 3 arches over main boom from Main Mast to Mizzen mast.
Attached at the life lines.
Covered in a tarp.
Tarp comes down to top of lifelines.
Tarp grommets tied to life lines for additional security ,,holds well in strong wind.
Creates sun and weather protection for Dodger.
Tall enough to walk around the deck under it.
Aft Corners clip to allow easy ingress and egress to cockpit when in a Marina.
6 minutes for 2 people to put up or take down.
PVC Pipes stored in 4" ABS pipe lashed to the toe rail when not in use.
Someday will upgrade tarp to some UV stable fabric of some sort. Not gonna be cheap. but will look classier than a tarp.
Going on two years ...has paid for itself in added life to Full Dodger.
Blocks Sun, rain, and bird poop.

Thats the remote from H.F. I stripped the plug and used this as the wiring diagram, it's from a cheaper unit off amazon but works with this unit as well. Be aware that there is a slight delay, perhaps half a second, but I've gotten used to it.

AAA and AA rechargeable batteries and charging unit. One less thing to run out of at the wrong time.

Many to choose from via Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Ebay, etc.
