Err... I think the question of "Working While Living Aboard" meaning outside your county of residence/domicile has - with the Chinese exception not been answered.

Bahamas doesn't have the
reliability or bandwidth I require. If you are going to
work from a
boat, you still have to have a domicile (mail address, drivers
license, etc).
For those you don't have
remote office option, you first have to find a job near the
water, and if you don't have a car, very near.
What happens if its blowing 30 knts and you have to go to work? You have to have someplace safe for the dink which will be left unattended for the entire day. I would think staying at a marina would almost be required, thus allowing you to have a car.
