They were purchased by lats and atts a year ago. The shyster that purchased lats and atts this last spring, ran it to the ground. Basically took the money and ran. So both are no more.

Re: What has happened to Living Aboard forum?

I was active on Livingaboard long before I came to the Cruisers & Sailing Forum. It was a good site with an active community, but this will be my "home" now

Looks like some are here and some on Trawlers Forum but i guess the blowboaters (known in the UK to mobo folk as WAFIs, wind assisted 'flipping' idiots) wouldn't look there.

Life goes on!

Are you serious? Do you mean Lats and Atts is gone too? I remember reading that the magazine, Living Aboard, was going to be folded into Lats and Atts. I have a small website about living aboard, but it takes a lot of work to set up a forum. This one we're on is a good one.

Re: What has happened to Living Aboard forum?

Robin3, 'glad to see you here. I would hope that CaptRob, Jaxfishgyd, CapTim, Jim on Skylark, Tex, Dr. Theopolis, Pistarckle, Bobbymo, JustaTinch, Sea Eagle,Durian, Rondebop, K8uet and others would make at least a single post here so they could be contacted. It would be easy to "colonize" here for a bit before all these friends fade into cyberspace!

Re: What has happened to Living Aboard forum?

Het there,
moved from livingaboard as well. Loved the site but unfortunately it's gone. How is everybody doing?
Captforce thank you for all the info, really appreciate it. Tuesday morning we are finally closing the sell of the restaurant, it has been a long time. Already started selling and getting rid of stuff at home. Should be all done and living aboard by the middle of September.
