Re: What a sad way to go !
As the risk of being labeled insensitive, I personally think that When my time comes, l would rather be found dead In my boat than In some rotten nursing home. Barring a report of violent crime I will stand by my thoughts.

Re: What a sad way to go !
I too don't find that particulalry sad.
Plenty of us would rather pass away aboard doing what we enjoy to the very end.

which article on the page were you talking about ?
PHUKET: A 68-year-old New Zealand man died early this morning, at the home of a bar owner in Patong.
Police confirmed that the man had gone home with the bar owner, whom he met on Soi Paradise at about 1:30am.
"The bar owner and the man were having intercourse for about 15 minutes when the foreigner fell unconscious,” said Lt Col Weerapong Rakhito of the Patong Police.
The bar owner called the hospital for help and performed cardiovascular resuscitation (CPR) until rescue workers arrived.
“Rescue workers were unable to revive the man,” Col Weerapong said. “We found no signs of a struggle in the room, and believe he may have suffered a heart attack, as he was fitted with a pacemaker.”

I'm not planning to go back ashore. It's ashes to ashes and dust to dust, not Dacron™ to dirt.
Edit: I particularly would like to have that happy ending!

TB Fireman, exactly. 34 yrs as cop. I can tell without any uncertainty that you snooze (thru life) u loose!!!
I have,in my oncoming years, pictured my demise in exactly the same manner.
Hopefully, it won't be cannibals that find me.
God bless us all.

Sad? what is sad about it. Nelson Rockefeller died in the arms of his 17 year old lover. Took her 3 hours to get his carcass off her so she could call 911. Better to die in the saddle than at a desk.
