West aussies

I am a new Member from Perth Western Australia. We own a Fairweather Mariner 39. A Robert H Perry design sloop. Our dream will soon come together when we set sail in May for our retirement. We are going to participate in the Sail Indonesian Rally departing Darwin 28th July.

Hi Fairweather 39
I'm an Aussie girl with a Catalina 42 in Caharleston, South Carolina, US & am heading for the Med this year via New York. It's a wonderful life, enjoy!

Re: West aussies

When I first started sailing in Portland Oregon seven years ago and subscribed to CW, I have always had a soft spot for the Mariner 39 after reading this review. (Mariner 39 Sailboat Review | Cruising World)

Now living in Perth with my wife, I find they have made it to the southern hemisphere. I have to ask, can you share any pics? Does it match up to the CW review? Where did you find it?

Have a great retirement! And a great sail to Indo!

Best wishes on your cruise. I have a bavaria 37 in Phuket. I cannot do the rally this year but it is on my bucket list, maybe 2014. I think it is a must do.

Hello fellow Mandurian. Might have seen your boat around. Ours is still on land, getting built, but almost there. We're hoping to end up in indo this year too, maybe in the Spring, not with the rally though.
